CRCP Celebrates SEFCRI TAC Members

The Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative, or SEFCRI, is a collaborative partnership of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, private partners, scientists and reef stakeholders working together to identify and implement priority actions that reduce key threats to southeast Florida’s coral reef ecosystem. SEFCRI supports the protection and management of Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve by combining scientific knowledge, stakeholder input and community engagement to guide effective local action planning. On Feb. 19, members of the Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP) held the final gathering of the current SEFCRI Team and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) members to celebrate their four years of service in advising and collaborating on the conservation of Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve.
