A Day in the Life of the Indian River Lagoon

Indian River Lagoon Aquatic Preserve staff once again joined A Day in the Life of the Indian River Lagoon, partnering with St. Lucie West Centennial High School to give students hands-on experience as scientists. Students conducted water quality analysis, seagrass surveys, eDNA collection, sediment analysis and push net sampling. Partner sites along the full length of the Lagoon collect the same data on the same day, producing a lagoon-wide snapshot of estuary conditions.
