Message From The Manager
The Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve is the most recently designated aquatic preserve. It is home to the northernmost section of Florida’s Coral Reef and part of the only barrier reef system in the continental United States. This aquatic preserve supports more than 6,000 uniquely stunning species of marine life, including fish, stony corals, gorgonians, sponges and other marine invertebrates. There are abundant ways to experience the Kristin Jacobs Coral Aquatic Preserve including fishing, diving, boating, snorkeling and paddling. Visiting the aquatic preserve is a great opportunity to explore one of the many diverse ecosystems in the Southeast Florida region. Find a moment away from the hustle and bustle of city life to appreciate Florida in all its natural glory.
Sincerely,
Alycia Shatters
