Back by popular demand, Rookery Bay’s evening science talks return with a thought-provoking theme that touches on environmental challenges and personal well-being. Each Science Nite combines education with fun featuring interactive displays, food and drinks and opportunities to mingle with neighbors and experts alike.
On the November 25 Science Nite, Marine Scientist Ellen Prager and Meteorologist Dave Jones use humor, easy-to-understand language and fun illustrations to answer zany and frequently asked questions about the ocean, atmosphere and climate change. Their unique combination of understandable science and humor has gained broad attention through packed presentations, television interviews and on podcasts such as with comedian Paula Poundstone.
