Clyde Butcher’s ‘Living Water’s’ Collection on Exhibit at Lyonia Environmental Center
The Central Florida Aquatic Preserve (CFAP) team recently installed the Living Waters collection in the Lyonia Environmental Center gallery, in Deltona, Fl. The collection features striking black-and-white photography highlighting Florida’s diverse aquatic natural areas, including many of the state’s aquatic preserves. Renowned photographer Clyde Butcher, often referred to as the “Ansel Adams of Florida,” is known for using large-format photography to capture the raw beauty and ecological significance of the state’s wetlands and waterways. The grand opening was held on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, and CFAP’s former manager, Deborah Shelly, spoke about the collection and Clyde Butcher’s long-standing support of Florida’s Aquatic Preserves. The collection will remain on display through early April.
